We make money when you pay us to improve your poker — not by analyzing your game without your permission.
Open Raiser is a training tool, not a data business. Your gameplay stays in your browser. We collect minimal, anonymous signals to improve the product. We built our own analytics system specifically so your data never touches a third party's servers.
No cookies. No accounts. No tracking across sessions.
Your Gameplay Stays in Your Browser
Your cards, your decisions, your assessment scores, your leak report — all of it lives in your browser's local storage and nowhere else. Our servers never see what hands you were dealt, how you played them, or what your results were.
This isn't a policy — it's how the system is built. Our analytics pipeline physically cannot capture gameplay data. The server rejects any event that isn't on a strict allowlist.
What We Collect
We record anonymous usage signals to understand how the product is being used and where it falls short. These help us answer questions like “do people finish assessments?” and “what screen sizes should we prioritize?” — not “what did someone do with pocket aces?”
Session activity — whether an assessment was started, completed, or abandoned; how many hands were played (count only); which sections of the report were viewed.
Device context — screen size category, browser family (e.g., Chrome, Safari), desktop or mobile. Not your full browser fingerprint.
Performance — page load times and errors so we can find and fix problems.
Each session gets a random identifier that exists only in browser memory. When you close the tab, it's gone. We cannot connect two visits from the same person.
What We Never Collect
- Cards dealt, actions taken, or strategy decisions
- Assessment scores, deviation percentages, or leak categories
- Names, email addresses, or any personal information
- IP addresses — our servers are configured not to log them
- Cookies or persistent tracking identifiers
- Full browser user-agent strings
- Anything that could reconstruct how you play poker
Where the Data Goes
Our own servers. We built a purpose-built analytics backend on our own infrastructure specifically to avoid services like Google Analytics that send your data to third parties.
No ad networks. No data brokers. No partnerships that involve your usage data.
Usage data is stored encrypted and automatically deleted after three years.
Opting Out
Open Raiser respects your browser's Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals automatically.
You can also disable analytics manually — open your browser console and run:
localStorage.setItem("beacon_opt_out", "1")
Takes effect immediately, no page reload needed. To re-enable:
localStorage.removeItem("beacon_opt_out")
Private browsing modes are also respected — in private or incognito windows, no persistent data is written at all.
